Story of Choy Lee Fatt

This Kung Fu style was developed by a man named Chan Heung. In his youth, he lived in the southern Chinese province of Kwantung and took lessons there with the martial artist Lee. After a few years of training, he sent him to the Buddhist monk Choy Fook. As he grew older, Chan Heung gained great fame for Master in honor he called his style Choy Lee Fatt (the fat means Buddha, because the belief in Buddha also helped him).

This Kung Fu style is considered one of the outer styles, which mainly consists of very powerful long-sleeved techniques for competition. In order to use these techniques effectively, strength and hardening are needed, which is why these applications are placed at the very end of a Kung Fu training. Used correctly, this is probably the best attacking technique in street fighting.
