Martial arts styles of the Swiss Chin Woo Association

In 1975, Grandmaster 周國英 Chow Kok Yeng brought the traditional Chinese martial art Chin Woo Kung Fu from Malaysia to Switzerland.

KUNG FU

Chin Woo combines northern and southern Kung Fu styles into a holistic martial arts system!

For many people, martial arts are more than just a sport. It is a philosophy of life that gives them support and orientation. Through the constant challenge they experience during training or competition, they learn to overcome themselves and reinvent themselves again and again. Wing Chun

This style is twice as fast as any other combat system. The aim is to exploit the strength of the opponent. This style is simple, fast and direct!


WuShu | Taolu

The name WuShu comes from the Chinese translation and means " Warcraft „. Today's WuShu is mainly practiced as a competitive sport.

Sanda | Qingda

The traditional Sanda is the Chinese variant of "kickboxing" and is associated with effective throws and fixed fighting rules.


Shaolin

Kung Fu is mainly used for personal development and has a tradition of over 1000 years and Philosophy . The classic and oldest practice of Shaolin Kung Fu is animal imitation.

Taijiquan

Tai Chi is a kind of meditation in motion! Learn effective exercises that involve slow, flowing movements, the Yin and Yang harmonize.


Choy Lee Fatt

Choy Lee Fatt is one of the outer, southern styles and consists mainly of very powerful long-sleeved techniques for competition.


Lion dance

The Chinese Lion dance is an ancient, traditional art from China. Its roots are deeply rooted in the culture of the Chinese and it is considered a ritual that brings you a drink.

Dragon Dance

The dragon is considered benign and a symbol of the male, generative force of nature (yang). It symbolizes intelligence, prosperity and leadership.
